Welcome to Minds Afire!  I plan to use this blog space to reflect upon learning and teaching, especially in regards to reading, technology and professional development.  However, I cannot promise that those are the only topics, I'll will address here.  I am an ardent lover of history and my undergraduate degree was in Medical Technology so I also have a deep affection for science.  I may as well throw in a little math, too.  This blog in other words is about being a life-long learner and how I might be able to share that love of learning with my students.
